Good Neighbor Day ~ September 28th

National Good Neighbor Day is September 28th.  National Good Neighbor Day encourages acts of kindness and strengthens community ties among neighbors.  Some ideas to celebrate National Neighbor Day by: Being thoughtful: Offer to help a neighbor with a task, like gardening or running errands. Share treats: Bake some cookies or make a double batch of your favorite food to share. Share a smile or a wave: See someone walking down the street, getting out of their car?  Say hello with a smile and a wave. Showing appreciation: Write a letter of encouragement or express gratitude to a neighbor. Connecting with neighbors: Host a casual get-together like “donuts on the driveway” or an informal chat. Improving your community: Go for a walk and pick up litter along the sidewalk.

Lesueur Estates - Crime Alert

Dear Lesueur Estates Owners:   It was reported that last night, thieves hit un-locked cars in the neighborhood.  It seems to be a thing lately for thieves on foot to quickly sweep through neighborhoods and steal from un-locked vehicles.  They will swing through quickly on foot, checking vehicles left outside that have been left un-locked.  They quickly hit that vehicle looking for anything of value inside they can take, then move quickly onto the next un-locked vehicle they find.   Make sure to LOCK your vehicle if you leave it outside.  Take anything of value out of your vehicle or put it under a seat or in the trunk, etc. where it can not be seen.     GARAGE DOORS - continue to be left open according the officer that patrol the community.  Please check your garage doors in the evening before you retire for the night and make sure it is closed, so your garage does not become a target for thieves.   Report problems to Mesa Police at their non-emergency number 480-644-2211.  For emergencies or crimes in progress call 9-1-1.   Have a great weekend. Thanks Dave Heywood Property Manager
